I Am Legend

This morning, Chan and I sat down together and watched this great film. Firstly, the acting in this film, the lead role played by Will Smith was phenomenal. I am truly surprised he wasn't nominated for an Oscar! Will Smith plays Dr. Robert Neville, a virologist for the U.S. military, and is the last man on earth. Will gave us a feel for his character and kept us interested with the film.

The effects in this movie were great, and included making a digital set if an evacuated New York City. Also, the digitally engineered "darkseekers" were a job very well done, as we werent pointing out how fake it looked and how I thought they brilliantly creepy.
In the film, I am Legend, a viral cure for cancer has been found, only, strange mutations have occured in the human trials. Now that the virus has become airborne, all humans are infected and turn into canibalistic mutants who are very sensitive to Ultraviolet Radiation. Dr. Robert Neville, the last human left, has devoted his life into finding a cure to bring mankind away from the brink of extinction.

Acting: 10; I must make a note of Samantha, Robert's Dog, for when watching the film you bond with the dog so well.
Effects: 8
Plot: 9; very creative!
Overall:10; The perfect film!

I liked the things you said about the movie, but I don't think you really gave enough detail about the plot. I would like to know the premise and exactly what is going on. I don't get that from your review and thus I can't tell whether or not I would be interested in watching it, regardless of your positive review.

Thank you so much for your feedback! The reason i did not put much info of the plot in the review was because I did not want to give it away. IF you think that we should include more info in our plot review we will take that into consideration.
